Located just ten minutes from the city centre, our campsite is conveniently located for the city’s sights and events but also offers a relaxing setting where you can truly reset. Escape into the great outdoors while staying close to the urban buzz for a unique city break.
From your pitch, admire the magnificent Sainte-Victoire mountain standing proudly on the horizon. Soak up the warmth of the Provence sun and reconnect with what’s really important, waking up to the smell of pines and the sound of cicadas.

Whether you’re a camper or campervanner or prefer the comfort of a chalet, Camping Chantecler has you covered with its wide range of accommodation and camping pitches.
Our large, shaded camping pitches, some with a stunning view of Sainte-Victoire mountain, guarantee a great stay.
With chalets, mobile homes and cottages available, you can choose the option that best fits your preferences and budget. Our comfortable and well-equipped rental accommodation, sleeping up to 6 people, offers an ideal setting for making the most of your holiday in Provence – and of the outdoors too!
The pool area with swimming pool and paddling pool for children is ideal for cooling off and having fun. (the pool will close on 10/10/2024)
There is also a range of sport and leisure facilities available on-site, with something for everyone: boules pitch, beach volleyball pitch, ping pong tables, gym and children’s playground.
Flexibility
Arrive and depart any day of the week; short stays possible, even in summer.
Peace and quiet
No motor vehicles allowed in the campsite at night, from 11pm to 7am.

So you can go and explore the city without needing to worry about your car!

By car: city centre just 10 minutes away.
Buses 3 and 4: which you can catch a 5-minute walk away from Camping Chantecler, take you directly to the centre of Aix-en-Provence in just 25 minutes (2 miles).
On foot: get to city centre in just 40 minutes.
By bike: 10 minutes en empruntant by cycle paths.
Aix-en-Provence SNCF train station: 2 miles away – 8 minutes by car.
Marseille Provence Airport: 19 miles away – 25 minutes by car.
